Membership
Individuals, groups and organisations support our charitable purpose to protect and enhance the River Kelvin and its natural surroundings by becoming Members. FORK Members are from our community and beyond.

All Memberships are for one year and will automatically renew annually. You can amend the renewal of your FORK Membership in your Account once you have subscribed. During your membership subscription, you can add a donation and if eligible sign up for Gift Aid.
Please note: FORK Trustees will regularly review new Membership applications in line with our charitable aims and Constitution.
To be eligible for Ordinary, Junior or Family Membership you should live, work or study in the Glasgow City, East Dunbartonshire or North Lanarkshire the local authority areas through which the Kelvin flows. Please join as an Associate member if you don't meet this criteria.
* Ordinary Members are individuals, or a representative of a group / organisation, aged 16 or over
* Junior Members are individuals aged 12-15. They are not eligible to serve as a FORK Trustee
* Family Members are one/two individuals aged 16 or over, with one or more children aged up to 15
Associate Members are individuals, or a representative of a group / organisation, aged 16 or over living, working or studying beyond the local authority areas through which the Kelvin flows who want to support our charitable purposes.
Honorary Members
FORK Trustees may invite members of the community to become Honorary Members who can attend meetings but are not eligible to vote.
Gift Aid
Membership subscriptions are an important part of the funding FORK need to support our activity. If you wish, you can add a donation to your Membership fee during the subscription process. If you are a UK taxpayer, FORK can claim an extra 25 pence in every £1 on donations via Gift Aid, raising more funds for FORK at no extra cost to you! If you choose to make a donation you will be asked whether you are a UK taxpayer and if you want to sign up to Gift Aid.
