Big River Watch, 6-12 September 2024
We invite FORK Members and the river Kelvin community to contribute to the Rivers Trust's Big River Watch survey to help better understand the health of the UK's rivers.
We hope you can spare 15 minutes to record what you see on your journey along the river Kelvin during the survey period, Friday 6 - Thursday 12 September 2024. Visit the Big River Watch webpage to find out more and download the app.
Saturday 7 September 2024 is FORK's monthly river clean up. Whilst we are giving FORK's HQ, Ha'Penny Bridge House, some TLC (please join us 10:30-12:00!) on that day, we hope volunteers can look out for plants, wildlife and more on the river on their way to and from the clean up and feed into the Big River Watch survey.
In May 2024, our river clean up volunteer group thoroughly enjoyed collating our observations and findings into one Big River Watch survey submission.
