FORK Ha'Penny House Gardening Sessions with TCV this December
Continuing with our season of events, we have an exciting line up of gardening sessions, set to enhance the biodiversity of Ha'Penny Bridge House's Garden and continue to clear and improve the green spaces around FORK's HQ. The series of gardening events will run across consecutive weekends in December and pick up again in the spring, in time for the new season of planting. The sessions are led in partnership with The Conservation Volunteers Scotland and supported by our recent TNL Community Funding grant.
Scything Day at the HPH Garden
Join us for a hands-on scything workshop to continue clearing the HPH garden space we started revitalising back in September. Scything is an ancient and effective technique for meadow management that helps restore wildflower diversity.

Clearing, Composting, and Creating Day
We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join us in the HPH garden for a day of clearing, composting, and planting. Together, we’ll continue the work we started earlier this autumn by finishing up the weed clearing, turning the compost, and creating new growing beds for woodland species beneath our beautiful oak tree. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local environment, learn about sustainable gardening practices, and make a tangible difference in our community space.
